New Jersey Driving while intoxicated (DWI) Attorneys

Driving while intoxicated (DWI) and driving under the influence (DUI) are terms that are sometimes used synonymously in the State of New Jersey. New Jersey statutory law prohibits driving while intoxicated and sets forth penalties for those convicted of this offense. An individual is considered to be driving under the influence when they are operating a vehicle or boat when they have a blood alcohol content (BAC) or .08 percent or greater. Being charged with or convicted of DWI can have serious ramifications on the life of the accused individual. A DWI charge can negatively impact the individual's career, reputation, and family. Individuals that want to protect their livelihood, relationships, and good standing in the community need a skilled New Jersey DWI attorney to assist them with their case. A New Jersey DWI lawyer will endeavor to protect the individual's rights and ensure the charges against the individual are either reduced or dismissed.
